When you starting thinking about an engine and a generator, mechanical parts versus a passive PV system, or UPVC Doors or UPVC windows there are trade-offs that you have to evaluate. Audience member: [inaudible 0:31:48]Speaker: The temperature at the receiver here, it’s all a function of how much heat you’re removing. If you don’t remove any it gets really hot and melts everything.
The temperature is between 750 and 800C. The actual hydrogen working fluid is about 750C. So the receiver is a little higher temperature. These are the 3 kilowatt Infnia dishes. Again, 3 kilowatts, 25 kilowatts, it takes a lot of them to make 100 megawatts. You don’t have any storage capability with them. They do respond relatively quickly.
